Digital Guitar by Gibson
Whoa. Forget your GuitarPlug. What you really need is the new digital electric guitar from Gibson. This is no gimmick product-- it's a true Les Paul guitar, that just happens to have an extra 1000+ digital components buried inside. Oh, and an RJ-45 ethernet connector!
Gibson makes a point of claiming that it's a great guitar first, and digital second. The guitar can be played in "classic" mode, using a standard 1/4" connector, or you can hook it to up to 100 feet of CAT5 ethernet and go digital. The guitar uses their new MaGIC ethernet media delivery system, intended to replace all wiring systems in both the musical instrument fields and consumer electronic applications (they hope to replace the rat's nest of wires behind your stereo cabinet with a single ethernet cable).
