iGesture Input Pad

FingerWorks specializes in "zero-force" keyboards and pointing devices, and one of the interesting ones is the iGesture. This pad replaces your mouse. You use specific hand gestures which come into contact with the pad to navigate around your computer screen and make selections.

FingerWorks provides animations on their website to show you how the specific gestures are executed (better turn of your pop-up blocker for this one, or you won't get to see them).

The real secret to the iGesture that makes it so much more than a typical touch pad is that it can recognize different patterns of multiple finger touches simultaneously. This provides much greater flexibility in terms of the wide variety of commands you can represent.

This may the wave of the future, but I'm sure it won't be a part of my "present" any time soon with a price of $129.88.
