Title of Best OS claimed by Tiger
Tiger has now gained the name of "Best Operating System" by none other than PC World. Tiger was released by Apple in early April, and has since blown away many users.
If you want gadgets, Tiger has them aplenty. Tiger allows you to create smart folders, smart mailboxes, and smart groups that update automatically when new data arrives. Dashboard puts utility widgets into view quickly, and can instantly hide them. Also, repetitive tasks can be perforemd by the "Automator" rather than dealing with them yourself.
Tiger's greatest new addition is Spotlight, which is "a speedy, well-integrated way to search you hard-drive" (according to PC World in their "100 Best Products of 2005" article). This great new operating system is giving Mac users new features that won't be available to loyal PC users until next year.
Tiger retails for $130, but you can update to Tiger for $114.99.
