Deal of the Week: JBL Encounter Speakers for $87
Back in April, we talked about the JBL Encounter 2.1 Speaker System. 13 watts per stereo channel, the subwoofer has 34 watts of power, sounds great, less filling, etc.Okay, so why bring them up again? Well, that's easy: The MSRP on the Encounters is $199, and back in April Amazon had a great deal on them at $149. However, you can now get this great speaker system for just $86.95.
For that price, get a set for your Mac, and another one to put in the living room for your iPod. you'll still spend less than the original price of one system!
UPDATE: For those of you looking for an even better bargain, Amazon also has the JBL Creature II speaker system on sale for just $61.22. It has 8 watts of power per channel, and the subwoofer pumps out 24 watts of power.

Nope, still too ugly. They look like something you'd find at one of those crappy "Spencers" stores at the mall.
