iFlicks 1.1 rises from the ashes
Back in January, I wrote a brief review of iFlicks, which I said was like having iTunes for your videos. Shortly thereafter, the Helixent website mysteriously announced that iFlicks was not available, but would be back soon, better than ever. Well, they meant it.
iFlicks 1.1 was released today, and is indeed an improvement over the original. It now has its own built-in video player, although you can still configure it to run external players. They have also integrated Amazon Web Services to allow you to quickly locate and load into iFlicks details about any movies you are storing in iFlicks. Other refinements to the user interface were made, as well a some bug fixes.
You can download a demo version which limits you to five movies in your library. You can purchase a code to unlock the full version for $29.95.
